Refund and Returns Policy – OBEI Learning Management System (LMS)
At Ontario Business Excellence Inc. (OBEI), we are committed to providing high-quality online training programs and professional development experiences through our Learning Management System (LMS). We value your satisfaction and are here to support you throughout your learning journey. Please review our Refund and Returns Policy below.
1. Digital Product Nature
All courses, programs, and digital materials available on the OBEI LMS are considered non-tangible digital goods. Once accessed or downloaded, these materials cannot be returned.
2. Refund Eligibility
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for most of our paid courses and programs. Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
- Request is submitted within 7 days of purchase or course access (whichever comes first).
- You have not completed more than 20% of the course content.
- You provide a valid reason explaining your dissatisfaction or issue.
- You have not previously received a refund for the same course.
Note: Certain high-value programs (e.g., certifications, cohort-based courses, or customized enterprise training) may have separate refund terms, which will be clearly stated during enrollment.
3. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
- You changed your mind after the refund period.
- You failed to use or complete the course within the access period.
- You accessed or downloaded significant course content.
- You received a certificate of completion.
- Courses purchased during a promotion or at a discounted rate marked as final sale.
4. Subscriptions and Memberships
For LMS subscriptions or memberships (e.g., Lean Mastery Hub), you may cancel your subscription at any time. However:
- No prorated refunds will be issued for partial months.
- Auto-renewal charges are non-refundable if not canceled before the renewal date.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at support@obexcellence.com with the following details:
- Your full name and email address
- Course or program title
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days, and eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.
6. Exceptions and Discretion
OBEI reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests at our sole discretion and to modify this policy as needed to ensure fairness and sustainability.
